When Facebook wanted to launch its Marketplace, it had plenty of awareness but they needed people to see what set Facebook Marketplace apart from the competition. 

Craigslist is creepy. Ebay is a total crap shoot. So if you’re selling something, why not list it on a site with 2.2 billion users who have friendly, human faces?

INSIGHT

We focused our launch campaign for Facebook’s shopping tool on this difference. When you buy and sell stuff here, you know exactly who you’ll meet. A car enthusiast, a comic nerd, or just another friendly face.
